5 Element Yoga

Tuesdays | 10:00 – 11:00AM CT

This 60 minute class includes gentle yoga poses, breathing techniques, mudras, relaxation, and a teaching about the elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) and how these elements show up in our body, breath, mind/emotions, and spirit.  This class allows extended time at the end for a deeper, longer relaxation/meditation.

Yoga Nidra

Wednesdays | 8:00 – 8:30PM CT

This 30 minute guided meditation is the antidote to today’s world. Yoga Nidra has its roots in ancient Yogic texts which describe 5 levels of our being called koshas. The koshas or levels of being are:  physical, energetic/breath, mental/emotional, intuitive, and the bliss body/True Self. This practice suspends one in the space between wakefulness and sleep where the interaction with the subconscious and unconscious dimensions occur simultaneously. The results of this practice are a very deep relaxation where healing takes place. It transforms stress and anxiety, improves your connection to your deepest self,  increases health and wellness and overall sense of calm and peace in your life.  The only requirement for this class is to lie down and listen while you are guided. 

Gentle Yoga

Fridays | 10:00-10:40AM CT

This 40 minute class includes gentle yoga poses, breathing techniques, mudras,  relaxation, and a teaching about the elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) and how these elements show up in our body, breath, mind/emotions, and spirit.  This class includes optional 20 minutes after yoga for connection and conversation.

About Linda:

Linda is an Experienced  Kripalu Yoga Instructor with a demonstrated history of working in the health and wellness field for over 35 years. She is skilled in Wellness Coaching, Yoga Instruction, and Holistic Health,  Her degrees and certifications include: Master of Science  in Education from The State University of  Albany in New York;  Certified 500 hour Kripalu Yoga Instructor;  Brown Belt in the Nia Technique; and Certified. Holistic Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, NYC.  She has studied and practiced with many Master teachers at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA.
