Teaming Up For Teens

Unity Minneapolis is supporting teens in the western suburbs experiencing homelessness. These youth are seeking shelter wherever they can and “couch surfing” among friends and relatives.  There are many reasons they are no longer at home: substance abuse, divorce, physical or emotional abuse, neglect, or not welcome as LGBTQ.   These teens often work part time jobs.  They cling to their studies and hope for a better future and we want to reach out to them before they are drawn into higher risk situations.

Being able to shower and care for their appearance is important at this critical age.  We’re collecting new items for PERSONAL CARE PACKS. Please drop off donations in the church building or in the collection box at upper east entry in the back parking lot. Let’s be the loving care for our neighbors!
