Tuesdays | September 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 | 7-8:30 PM CT | Via Zoom
Using creative prompts and theatre games, participants will develop their unique point of view, and learn how to express themselves freely in all situations. We will share stories from our lives, using the oral tradition, and instructor will record these performances so participants can share this “body of work” with whomever they chose. We will engage in skill building, non-judgmental feedback practices, and of course, plenty of fellowship. Participants can expect to expand their comfort zones, learn to share in front of others, and laugh.
Enjoy Dane’s creative and unique style of leadership as you explore your stories on a deeper level and identify and refine your way of working. As the class works to craft your stories, you will become a strong community and gain confidence and discover the joy of focusing and sharing your unique perspective with the world.
Class size limited to 9. Pre-registration is required.
Cost: $100 for five sessions
Facilitated by Dane Stauffer
Award–winning actor, writer, and director Dane Stauffer will lead the class through exercises that will develop a collaborative ensemble and help each participant to develop and perform a story with conviction and joy. The class will culminate in a story telling evening held on a live stream format, or in a podcast, to be determined by the class, instructor and Unity Minneapolis.
