

Just like adults, kids need outlet to plug into to connect to the Divine, as well as to help reduce stress. Yoga is one of these methods! In 45 minutes, experienced yoga instructor and Unity congregant Natalie Valentino will introduce kids to animal yoga. Kids will practice breathing, mindfulness, and embodying the qualities of various animals in this fun entry point to yoga as a healing, spiritual practice.
While kids are having their experience, parents and caregivers will be welcomed to meet up next door for connection and fellowship.

Dates: June 11, 18, and 25. Kids will reap the most benefit in proficiency, focus and stress relief by attending all three sessions.
Who: This class is best suited to kids ages 6-11.
Suggested love offering: $5 per child per class for a maximum of $30 per family.
Yoga mats provided. Please dress comfortably.

Natalie Valentino has consistently practiced yoga for the last 50+ years, during which time she’s had many teachers & studied several types of yoga. Her longtime studio was Yoga Center of Mpls. Her home studio was renamed 7 years ago to the Yoga Center Retreat, and she claims Common Ground Meditation Center as her meditation home. Natalie taught Sunday school for years & has been active in many volunteer activities at Unity Minneapolis for 30+ years. In her long social work career, she served kids & families 50% of the time. Natalie previously taught Animal Yoga to our children, and is excited for this repeat opportunity to ignite yoga fun & passion with our children!
