Love, or Lack? On Sunday, April 23, Brad Windhauser will talk about choosing love. Think it’s a simple decision? Read on for a message from Brad, who says it’s easy as it may seem:
Love (defined as a state of wholeness), or lack? It seems like it should be such a simple choice. Who doesn’t want to be whole? If you see yourself as whole already then you know the joy of realizing your own perfection. It is the greatest state you can carry through life! It will enable you to create great relationships, prosperity, perfect health, and allow you to find your perfect work. It really makes life rather easy. If on the other hand you can’t quite see your own perfection yet, you might not think it is even possible.
You may be completely unaware that the suffering you’re enduring is due to a hidden belief in lack. Things like abuse, addiction, and discontent, all have their seeds in lack. If you’re suffering, know that you’re not alone. I have never met anyone that has not suffered the consequences left behind by belief in lack. Yet our society thrives on lack! Marketers are trained on how to get people to believe in lack, so that they can demonstrate how their product will compensate for it. They use lack to convince you to do what they would have you do. However, marketers are not just men in suits. They’re our mother, father, brothers, sisters, neighbors, friends, employers, employees. movies, television shows, even lovers. In fact, you are a marketer. I am marketing right now.
Anyone that shares a belief is a marketer. Some things you will want to buy, some you won’t. The key is to sort out the two with a clear mind. The noise is loud but still you must listen if you wish to hear; Love, or lack? Take a moment and look at the options. Then decide consciously. Very few choose love by accident. It is a conscious endeavor for most. Yet it is a simple choice when the options are clearly presented, and a path clearly marked. To live your life with Love and laughter, or suffer with lack? Choose, and watch!
