Unity Minneapolis’ Successes in 2016

Unity Minneapolis has been busy this year! Watch the video for Unity’s year in review.

  • At the Golden Valley Pride Festival Rev. Pat participated in the Interfaith Service, and we handed out affirmations and 100 Daily Words.
  • 34 volunteers packed over 700 meals for kids at Noble Elementary School. At Summer KidPack we joined with other faith partners and packed 3,000 meals.
  • Over 1,500 people ride the bus to and from the Courage Kenny parking lot each year.
  • Our wonderful Unity Prayer Chaplains made approximately 3,650 individual contacts and prayed with our members. Our Prayer Angels prayed with over 3,500 prayer requests!
  • Over 50 classes were offered this year serving more than 1,500 people.
  • More than 30 workshops will have been held in 2016 with an attendance of more than 750 people.
  • Our website reaches over 130 countries in the world.
  • Unity Minneapolis’ Facebook page has 1,300 Likes and a reach of 2,300-2,500.
  • 7,649 people viewed the live stream and archives so far in 2016 for an average of 174 per week.
  • 29 new members added this year.
  • 32 Prayer shawls were given away, and many more were created!
  • We reach over 650 people every weekend during our Sunday Services.
  • 670 Daily Words and hundreds of affirmations were handed out at Twin Cities Pride.
  • 119 backpacks and 195 pounds of school supplies were donated.
  • 80 participants made 966 sandwiches for 363 Days Food Program.
  • 60 participants helped pack 1,784,160 meals at Feed My Starving Children.
