Daniel Nahmod Concert

Friday | October 6 | 7:30 pm.

Singer/songwriter and producer Daniel Nahmod (“Nay-Mod”) is one of the most successful and admired independent artists in the United States today. He has sold over 110,000 CDs and 10,000 printed songbooks on his own Humanity Music Label, releasing 18 titles and performing for well over a million people in 45 states. His music has been licensed by Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, The Voice, The Super Bowl, American Idol, and countless cable programs on dozens of networks.

Daniel is best known for his passionate, stirring live performances — yielding many thousands of standing ovations — and an award-winning catalog of powerful, insightful, inspiring pop songs which are performed around the world by independent artists, choirs, music ministers and cantors of numerous denominations, and headliners at motivational and humanitarian events. As a committed humanitarian himself, Daniel has sung at prisons, schools, homeless shelters, hospitals and senior centers; raised thousands of dollars for tsunami victims in Asia; performed for New Orleans residents displaced by Hurricane Katrina at the Houston Astrodome; and was nominated as National Hospital Volunteer Of The Year by Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles for his volunteer musical work there.

“I never want to preach or lecture,” he says, “and I am not a master of some enlightened kind of living or loving. I’m a goofball, I eat too much candy, I’m sarcastic when I should be serious. But the good I can do, I do. So I give everything I have with every performance. I sing my songs, and share my stories, and allow them to make whatever difference they’re going to make in the lives of those who hear them. And I let that be enough.” Daniel has performed his profoundly moving songs of peace, compassion and connection for most of the world’s major faiths, including Catholic, Christian, Buddhist, Bahai, Muslim, Mormon, Hindu, Jewish, Unity and interfaith audiences.

Daniel currently resides with his wife and toddler son in Orange County, CA, where, between frequent performances across the United States, he owns and operates Humanity Music, a boutique recording studio specializing in one-stop music production; instruction and consultation in music production, technology & business; and recording services for award-winning, first-time and independent artists, songwriters, high school and college students, multimedia projects and audio books.
