“Mother Wove the Morning”: A Play by Carol Lynn Pearson

Share the experiences of 16 women across the span of history—some fictional and some known figures like Rachel from the Old Testament; Emma Smith, wife of Mormon leader Joseph Smith; 19th century feminist Elizabeth Cady Stanton; and a German woman and Jewish woman living in Nazi Germany. All of these women share their stories, focusing on their understanding of themselves as females in the world, and sometimes more directly on their beliefs about or search for confirmation of a Mother God/Divine Feminine power in the universe. Join us for a thoughtful, moving experience as shared by these power-filled individuals — representing women past, present, and, perhaps, even future.
