Rev. Pat Williamson
Rev. Pat is committed to supporting individuals in growth as well as transformation through Unity principles. Before coming to Unity Minneapolis, he served as minister to congregations in Kansas City, MO; Evanston, IL; and Cincinnati, OH. He was a board member of the Association of Unity Churches, is past chair of Unity Worldwide Ministries, and is the former chair of Unity World Headquarters at Unity Village.
Rev. Jeanette Byington
Rev. Jeanette is an Ordained Unity Worldwide Minister and graduate of Unity Urban Ministerial School. She now serves as Associate Minister of Pastoral Care. She is a former Licensed Unity Teacher, Pediatric Registered Nurse, and Licensed Acupuncturist.
Unity Minneapolis has been Nancy’s spiritual home for more than 35 years. Unity teachings are a blessing in her life and she is honored to bring them to our young people as Youth & Family Ministry Director.
Wendy became a member of Unity Minneapolis in 2009. For more than 30 years, she has worked with children of all ages as a nanny, preschool teacher, writing instructor and grandma, but finds it especially satisfying to foster children’s spiritual development.
Maggie holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Concordia University in St. Paul and an Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Mankato State University. Maggie comes to us with a wealth of accounting experience in both private business and public schools.
After working as an Administrative Assistant for the Chairman of Hubbard Broadcasting for 35 years, Connie retired and just “played” for five years. Then she volunteered to be an Office Angel at Unity Minneapolis, which led to her taking on the role of Office Administrator.
Lori Dokken has been involved in the music industry for more than 35 years, as a cabaret performer, vocalist, pianist, arranger, producer, educator, and musical director. She enjoys being the Music Director of Unity Minneapolis and brings her passion for music to everything she does in this role.
Judi Vinar has built a dynamic and powerful 35+-member choir that continues to bless and wow our congregation. Judi has been a professional singer for over 30 years and performs cabaret, swing, jazz, Latin, R&B, gospel, and pop. A voice teacher since 1994, she works nationally as a voice clinician and teaches private voice and workshops on technique, improvisation, and general musicianship.
David first joined Unity Minneapolis in 2002. After taking what he calls a "prodigal journey" - he returned to Unity Minneapolis in 2015. He is a full-time dad and has been a professional clown, musician, actor, director, and playwright for over 30 years. He is grateful to be able to share his performing talents with the youth of Unity.
John Southam brings many years of experience leading volunteer organizations. He has been involved in the schools as volunteer group leader and president during his children's education for 15 years. Managing a business for 35 years gives him a lot of experience working with people. In 2000 he found Unity to be his spiritual home and has been active volunteering in many different ministry's in the last 8 years.
Morgan is a full-time writer and editor for a business-to-business magazine group at a local publishing company. Originally from Milwaukee, she lives in Minneapolis and likes to read, listen to podcasts and bike.
Rev. Phil Smedstad
Rev. Phillip Smedstad has been a Unity minister for 40 years, and is a Certified UWM Transitional Ministry Specialist. He has served ministries in several states, and was the founder of two of those ministries. Rev. Phil and his wife, Rev. Lura, also founded Theophilus Divinity School in Minneapolis. He is the author of “Real Wealth” and the “My Next Step” cards, a self-guided study in personal transformation. Phil and his wife live in Bloomington.
Kristin is a full-time digital marketing manager at a local publishing company. Originally from Chicago, she lives in Minneapolis with her dog, Goose. She is also a graphic designer and audio engineer and lives/works in a recording studio when she isn't running Video at Unity!
